Based on operations founded in Augusta, GA in the 1920's, the company has

1988, when we became a subsidiary of the Morgan Crucible Company of
Windsor, England, Thermal Ceramics was linked to a global network of
refractory and insulation companies, setting the stage for planned growth
and technological expansion. During the 1990's, Thermal Ceramics acquired
additional products lines including Min-K® Microporous Silica Material, RPC®
Vacuum Formed shapes, Thermic Refractories Structural Board Products, MRI®
Fired Shapes, and the Manville US Fiber Operations, which were moved to the
main plant and headquarters in Augusta, GA. Today our company supports
this complete line of advanced thermal management products and systems with:
